Swazi gets 50 years in jail in South Africa

We are happy to report that this man was sentenced to LIFE IMPRISONMENT for Trafficking In Persons, Life Imprisonment for Rape as well as 12 months for Immigration Offenses.

Well done to the entire KZN team who worked so hard to secure this conviction and sentencing!

2) SOUTH AFRICA

South Africa: 15 Child Trafficking Cases Detected At OR Tambo Airport

According to previous Minister of Home Affairs, Malusi Gigaba, a total of 15 cases of human trafficking have so far been reported and stopped at OR Tambo International Aiport.

1) GHANA

Police receive vehicles, equipment to combat child trafficking

The IOM presented the Ghana Police with six vehicles and operational equipment valued at $185,000 to help combat child trafficking in the country.

2) SENEGAL / NIGERIA

Sex for the soil: Senegal's gold rush fuels human trafficking from Nigeria

Many women from Nigeria (and other countries) are trafficked to Senegal's gold mines, where they are forced to prositite themselves.

Many miners believe that by drinking & buying sex they will boorst their chances if striking gold.

Forced conception: New method of child trafficking

Human Traffickers in India have started to diversify their operations. They will traffic women, sexually assault them and force them to have children, which will then be sold to prospective buyers accross India.

2) SPAIN

Drug and Human Trafficking Gang Busted

The Spanish Civil Guard dismantled a criminal organization dedicated to human and drug trafficking and freed two women — one of them 14-years-old — that were forced into prostitution by the gang.

House of horrors: Inside the tiny den where a monster care worker kept a woman with severe learning difficulties as his sex slave

A husband and wife who subjected a disabled woman to horrific sexual assaults while holding her as a virtual prisoner have been jailed.

They kept their victim captive in a room for 8 years.
